Update on Stuff so far…

Currently, although the site’s up and the theme is working (with new tweaks incoming), it’s not ready and up for the public to see, as I have a LONG way to go uploading over 6,000 comics (at least the metadata for all the tags except artist and group (pen name) tags are up). Don’t worry about uploading links, there were done MONTHS in advance and still work today….since 3 of the 4 downloads are from my FTP and 1 is premium OneDrive.

More news will be down the line, but for the time being, you can bookmark this site, and maybe get some future updates on a certain sad panda’s forum, on Twitter/X, on Bluesky (I’ll leave username info when it gets out of invite status), or on Discord (which I’ll make after I upload everything here)!

Updates on theme:

• Added filename info shown when you upload or edit images in the Post Pictures section (haven’t tried if it’ll show them when you’re adding images by Chapter)

• Window scroll now works on every category/taxonomy page and a doujin/manga’s gallery page, no more opening a new page while still being at the bottom

• All dropdown filters in the category pages are now in proper A-Z order….somewhat (it’ll do those whose first character is a special character or symbol first, then A-Z, and then a-z)

• Added rest of the tag and taxonomy info in list view, fixed margin and padding spaces

What’s left (these require the actual dev to do, but charges a LOT of money for….that and I ain’t that good at advanced coding):

• Improving cache (I’m sick and tired of manually ctrl+f5’ing everytime I add something new from the backend)

• Re-modifying the searchbar to be something like Madara or Mangadex (you know, autocomplete/dropdown showing results and metadata)
  top priority

• Either an accordion script so I can keep that crappy comment system I have now + Disqus, or just get rid of the comment system (I tried it, easier said than done) and stick with Disqus

• Change the main navigation to one that can let users implement dropdown or mega menu

• A better tag cloud (the theme came with one but as a widget and you could only do 1 tag/taxonomy, plus there was no way to do it as a page; this one I want it on a separate page, accordion tab style, showing the tags and each taxonomy)
  this is the only one I may want to do later 2024
